GALLERY / WILLAS contemporary

WILLAS Contemporary is an Oslo-based art space with an international footprint, first opened in Shanghai. The identity needed to be distinct without competing with the artists, and flexible enough to move across exhibitions, talks, and formats.

We built the system from the inside out, using WILLAS’ architectural spaces as the organising principle. The identity behaves like a frame: structured, responsive, and quietly confident. A dynamic logotype and a modular layout language allow each exhibition to speak in its own voice while keeping the Willas signature consistent.

The result is an identity designed to carry culture and commerce in the same room, without noise. The work stays centre stage. WILLAS remains unmistakable.
